It converts optical signals to electrical signals (and vice versa), enabling seamless connection between fiber optic networks and Ethernet devices. With 2 SC single-mode single-fiber ports and 8 RJ45 gigabit Ethernet ports, it is widely used in security monitoring, industrial automation, campus networks, and building network expansion projects.
